Welcome to Anton Infant School!
Anton Infant School is a two-form entry infant school. We are a friendly, busy and very caring community which has the wellbeing of all our children at the heart of everything that we do. We have a strong commitment to every child achieving their full potential across all areas of the curriculum.
Ofsted visited us in May 2025 and judged the school to be ‘good’. They had some wonderful things to say about our school.
'Anton County Infant School is a welcoming and inclusive community. Pupils enjoy coming to school each day and attend regularly. The school is ambitious for all pupils and has high expectations of their learning.'
'Pupils are kind to each other. They play and learn together well.'
'The school acts decisively to raise standards and embed change'
'There is a clear ambition for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) to achieve well. The school quickly identifies pupils’ individual needs. This means adaptations in lessons for pupils with SEND are precise across the curriculum. As a result, pupils with SEND achieve well.'
Every child is unique and will bring their own personalities to our school. We will ensure every child achieves through high expectations and challenges, provided in a safe and caring environment. Building relationships between school and home is essential. This effective partnership will enhance a successful learning journey.
