Today we had some eggs delivered which we carefully put into the incubator and waited patiently to see what would happen.

On Tuesday there was great excitement as one little chick hatched into the world.

Over night 4 more chicks hatched and when we arrived at school on Wed morning 2 more eggs had cracks in them.  It wasn't long until chick number 6 made an appearance too!

We are hoping that the other chicks will hatch very soon.

The children are loving seeing the new chicks and can't wait to be able to hold them later this week.
