Children’s Mental Health Week
During Children’s wellbeing week we have been focussing on children’s mental health. The children have spent time discussing and exploring emotions and the effect they can have on our bodies. We have also been learning about the importance of talking to others and who they can talk to.
We ended the week by holding a wear your scarf and bright clothes to school day. The children had great fun taking part in a range of mindful activity during golden time. Some of these included making a worry monster, gratitude cards, yoga session, colouring and time to play. Thank you to all the children who returned their entries for the scarf competition and to all who donated to Young minds.
